Chameleon, work in clay | bArtArt
Live MimiCry is more than a sculpture: it is an exercise in metamorphosis, an artistic experiment that combines technique, ingenuity, and nature in a work with a strong visual impact. Made from simple materials—wood, wire, tape, and cardboard—this sculpture depicts a chameleon immersed in its environment, articulated and alive, as if caught in the midst of silent movement.
The sinuous, segmented body, crafted with care and attention to detail, highlights the subject’s ability to adapt, while the integration with the surrounding environment demonstrates the versatility of the sculptural technique employed. Here, art is not limited to form: it extends into space, creating a three-dimensional composition that brings to life a small scene of suspended nature.
This work represents a step forward in material experimentation: not just a figure, but a miniature ecosystem which invites the observer to explore every corner and surface, following the chameleon in its silent camouflage.
