Grendizer's ArtWork
This sculpture reinterprets the figure of Grendizer, a symbol of strength and salvation, transforming it into an image of decadence and hidden truth. The helmet, still intact in its mechanical grandeur, no longer protects a hero, but reveals what remains: a skull, silent and definitive.
The light that emerges from within is not energy, but memory, a glow that illuminates absence rather than life.
Actarus no longer drives the car: he has become part of it, consumed, emptied, reduced to a residual presence. The work questions the myth of invincibility, showing the moment when the hero fades away and the structure continues to exist without him. The viewer can choose whether to see a ruin, a wreck, or a form of survival. But in any case, what remains is a question: what remains of the hero when the face disappears?
